Taking care of your mental health is extremely important, and the activities provided can help aid in your self care! Coloring relaxes your amygdala, which is the fear center of your brain, and because of this it has the ability to relax you and ease your stress. Listening to music has shown to ease your anxiety, improve your mental alertness, aid in better sleep, improve your mood, and so so so much more! Reading is good for your mental health because it significantly lowers stress levels and immensely relaxes your body. There are many other activities you can do to improve and take care of your mental health, but these are the reasons just some of them are so good for you!
